If the life is not at the moment, when then?

I didn’t remember from where I heard this phrase, but it keeps repeating in my mind. Look around people around us, some live in the past while some live in the future. Some people work hard everyday, to earn as much as possible, they said ‘I wanna have a better life in the future.’ They plan for the future, they work hard for the future. But, do they exactly know how their future is? No, it is unpredictable. If life goes as how you plan it, life will have zero challenge. For me, I don’t like to plan at all. Just like what my childhood classmates did whenever there was an exam, they scheduled their revision time in a timetable. And I wondered, did they really follow the timetable? Every single minute? I guess I would never understand how they did it, and why they had to do so. Just like, when you’re in primary school, you told everyone that your ambition is to be a teacher, but when you’re in secondary school, you’re interested with something else…The world is changing, so as our mind..You can plan for future, nothing is wrong with that, but not until you lose or forget what you are having now
