Went to watch The Day The Earth Stood Still last night..I didn’t expect much from this film before I watched this film, as it is a science fiction film, the type of film which I am not very interested at.All I want to watch is only Keeunu Reeves,Haha..

From internet, there are some negative review on this film..but don’t care much..I found it is a good film, the message that it try to deliver, the issue of man’s environmental damage to the planet.I wonder if they will be one day the scene also happen to our real life, the ‘planet’ send someone to tell us that he wants to save the planet ‘from us’…’If the Earth dies, you die,If you die, the Earth survives’.This quote is pretty cool, but it is true. Human change when it comes to the last minute, ‘cos this is their last chance, they have no choice. For United States, violence seemed to be the only thing you know. Use the army to fight the disaster?Funny and silly.

The funniest part was the conversation between Klatoo and Mr.Wu..I was shocked when I heard Keenu Reeves speak chinese, as I didn’t know about that before I watched the film. Short and clear,perhaps he took months to practice it..But I don’t understand why they need to have that chinese conversation though they both can speak english.Why the conversation start with chinese and end with english?Perhaps anyone who know can tell me this.
