RM8000 Fine For Blogging about Ex-Employer

This is something interesting...

A former employee has to pay heavy price for posting indecent blog title and comments which were directed at his former employer.

He was charged under the Section 233(1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

The maximum penalty carried out by the offence were fine up to RM50,000 or jail up to one year or both.
